Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop Kitchen has opened its Yorkville outpost at 346 E 92nd Street — the Upper East Side's first serving of the brand — for takeout and delivery, per Upper East Site.

The Langdon launches leasing on E 88th — up to $45K a month

A corner is now Patrolman Paul J. Schafer Place, 96 years on
Nearly a century after Patrolman Paul Schafer was killed in the line of duty in 1930, NYPD members and his family gathered to unveil Patrolman Paul J. Schafer Place — a corner Upper East Site places in Yorkville, designated by the City Council in a 2025 local law.

Before it was the mayor's house, it was the park's restroom
Gracie Mansion — built in 1799 as shipping magnate Archibald Gracie's country retreat, five miles north of the city proper, where he entertained Alexander Hamilton — fell on humbler duty after the city seized it in 1896: for years the Federal-style house served Carl Schurz Park as a concession stand and public restrooms, then became the first home of the Museum of the City of New York. Only in 1942 did Robert Moses talk Mayor Fiorello La Guardia into making it the official mayoral residence it remains today.
